Wake from sleep after updating to ML

Has anyone noticed it's a bit strange waking from sleep since ML? I get a black screen and it appears that backlight turns on, gives a quick flicker and then my screen is up.

This didn't happen with Lion.

No not at all for me. Wake up for me is incredibly quick, almost as if the mac wasn't ever asleep. HDD not SSD too.

This didn't happen with Lion.

I have not upgraded to Mountain Lion yet, but this happens with my rMBP with Lion now.
