So I have this new series 4 watch - it’s nice.

I am using the AutoSleep app to track my sleep for a while to see if it gives me any insights and use the Do Not Disturb (DND) settings automatically synced from my phone. All is good except one thing...

Does anyone know how to automatically disable the “Wake on a Wrist Raise” whilst in DND? The damn thing keeps lighting up as I move around at night which is distracting (however not the end of the world). I like the wake on write raise feature during the daytime and would just like to automatically disable it in DND.

Turn on theater mode.

I already found that work around but its not automatic... It is however at least a single press from the control centre - but it would be nice if as it enabled DND it just disabled this setting at the same time.

Watch app on your iPhone --> General --> Wake Screen --> Turn off top two toggles (Wake Screen on Wrist Raise & Wake Screen on Crown Up).

Thanks for that. This again is just manually adjusting the settings - I was hoping for an automatic way to invoke this as the watch enters DND that I had overlooked. I am currently just setting theatre mode as I go to bed, it just would be nice for it to do it itself!

Thanks for the responses however guys and gals.

What I have done is rearranged the control center so I have airplane mode, do not disturb and theater mode all in a vertical line. Quick and easy to turn them all on/off.

I think that's as close as you'll get as of now.

Oh that’s a clever little usability hack. I didn’t know you could do that (have now figured out how to mimic your setup).

Shame it’s not automatic but at least I don’t have to scroll around the screen anymore..

Thanks
