Hi,
I have a 2.8GHz/10GB MP, and most things are fine. I am learning, as this is my first Mac, and strangely enough, I have not had the "Reboot after Wake" problems everyone else have been having. I am running Parallels with Vista, and my problem is different:
When the MP falls asleep, after one hour of no usage, it perfectly well wakes up when I start using the keyboard. However, sometimes (2 of 3 times) not all works afterwards. I have for instance a Safari session open, and it is still there, and I can scroll up and down, but not select anything. I can open up the Finder, but when I try to open a document, it all locks up. When it does lock up, I can still move the mouse around, and zip to another "Space" monitor. But, it is like frozen, and if I try to force quit, I can't. I can't restart, even though I can select it, and all I can do is cold start the machine.
I have noticed that this more often happens when it falls asleep due to time, and not so often when I put it to sleep. Also, I never let it fall asleep with Parallels running.
I don't know if it makes a difference; I am using 2xF1 HD in Raid0, and a single WD drive for data, and I have a bunch of NAS shares mounted (AFP).
Please give me some clues to what's causing this behavior.
Thanks,
KB
