MP5,1 running 10.14.6 (18G8022) keeps waking up every two hours due to RTC (Alarm). Logs show the following for example:

Can't seem to determine the root cause. I've just disabled 'Wake for network access' and will continue to test. Any other suggestions?

Edit: interestingly enough, my MP3,1 running 10.15.7 also wakes every 2 hours. Commonality between the two is wake for network access being enabled. I do have to leave that on with the MP3,1 though as it functions as a file server in another room.

What does your pmset -g assertions say?
For me, i was able to get rid of the RTC crap by issuing the following:
Of course the usual culprits like wake for network should be off too

Code:
sudo pmset -a proximitywake 0

The assertions change depending on when the command is entered in terminal as sometimes, background processes start and end during the query.

Here's what it reports almost right after reboot:

And 30 seconds later:

What does the proximitywake value encompass?

EDIT: NVM - I googled proximitywake and unless the MP3,1 and MP5,1 are bouncing off each other since both are logged in with the same iCloud account, not sure if it would apply. Worth a test later though.

If you have iOS devices, that could also be another reason. Anyways i had this issue for the longest time, did tons of research and eventually came across proximitywake. Didnt make sense at the time but did it anyways. No issues since then.

No iOS devices here. I'm an Android guy myself. But, if turning 'Wake for network access' doesn't solve it, then I'll turn proximitywake off.
