iPod Wake up and play in one click?

Is there a way to make my nano wake up from it's sleep mode (when it's been paused for more than a couple minutes) and start playing right away (assuming you wake it up by pressing the play/pause button)?

I find it really annoying how fast it goes to sleep and that I have to double click the play button to get it going again...

Not that I know of. My 3rd Gen 10GB is the same way.

However, I have noticed that when I'm controlling it through the remote, I hit play on the remote, and that wakes and begins playing in one press.
