Wake up macbook air issue

Anyone has occurred the following issue: i just close the laptop (sleep i suppose
And after 2 days i think when i open it the screen was like when you set the brightness to level 1. I try to level up the brightness, to close reopen but nothing, i had to turn off and on the laptop. Only this time happened since August 2012

That's barely comprehensible.

The general brightness setting should stay where it was left off, but Air does self-adjust to environment's condition, switchable I believe.

i wasn't in a dark room at all, it was daylight. After restart it starts to normal behaviour.
