Am I the only one here that wakes up the 1st time and stays up?

I do have to get up and walk a few feet to shut off the alarm, but even in the dorms when I was able to have it within reaching distance of my bed I didnt have any problems :\

Left to my own devices I wake up 8 hours after I go to sleep. My wife's cell phone is the real alarm and I was going to brag that we woke up at 3am to get her off to work for 4am. But then I saw your post which sort of stole my thunder!

I have my alarm clock across the room. Weekdays I usually get up between 7:30-9...but on weekends, I will sleep to 2pm sometimes.

Nothing is better than sleeping for 15 hrs straight.

Wow, really? I absolutely HATE it when I wake up that late on weekends. It's like wow now I have 9 hours before I have to sleep again.:(

I'd rather sleep til' 7-8 AM everyday of the week. Of course, school doesn't allow for that, and when I get the chance, I stay up as late as possible.

I really need to sort out my sleep priorites.

I have this condition called DSPS (you don't have to follow the link, I'll describe it here :p).

I can only fall asleep very late (around 3-4 AM at the earliest), no matter when I get in bed, and the only easy way to wake me up (in case I have school in the morning) would be to crash-drive a TGV train into my room. So... yeah :(

Oh, and btw, I fell asleep at 1PM on Saturday and woke up at 4AM Sunday, which was about 2 hrs. ago

I use my Nintendo DS alarm clock to wake me up, it's sad that is this the only thing it does anymore. I'm saving for a Mac Mini so I can't buy any games right now.

I am such a bad waker upper. My alarm goes off at 6, I usually get up around 6:20. Then, I wander around half asleep 'till about noon. At that point, I'm awake.

I remember once in college my alarm was going off (I'm a heavy sleeper -- it takes a lot to wake me) and I threw something across my room (it was an honest attempt to turn off my alarm clock). It hit a glass lamp I had and shattered it. The shattering woke me, and my alarm was still going, and I was like, "huh"?

i never have problems getting up in the morning, its just the staying awake in 1st period english:D

English is my 1st period also. It's a challenge keeping my eyes open.

I have to be at school by 7:30. I wake up at 7:00. I don't get out of bed until 7:20, but I'm never late for school. I do everything in 10 minutes.

I do take a shower the night before though, after swim practice. The chlorine itches like hell.

I do not require sleep, so therefore I do not have the problem of waking up. :D

Actually, I set my alarm on my cell phone, then I turn it off and go back to sleep for another 20 minutes, then I get up take a shower, and then I'm awake....sometimes.
