Best Buys in my area are still showing you can preorder for in store pick ups on 9/24.

How does it show? At this point it just shows the checkout but no estimate time (unless I need to finish checkout)

Agree with the last two posts. Doesn’t matter if you missed the first pre order day. As long as you get to the apple store and stand in line sometime before 8am this Friday the 24th you should get the color and storage you want.

Why not pick the phone you like on Apple store app and check through out the day which store has launch day pickup. This is how found my sierra blue pro max 256GB today for launch day pickup at an Apple store 20 miles away.

Yes, every time you choose a different model, carrier, or zip code, it refreshes.

the  store is the way to go if u didnt pre order. just go stand in line a couple of hrs earlier. i would also call your store beforehand and make sure they are letting ppl line up this year, due to covid, ect… good luck!!

I suggest going to the Apple store over a carrier's store, as Apple tends to have more inventory from what I have read in previous releases. It really depends on the store tho. I've read that areas with many small stores for a carrier, each store gets a fragmented selection of phones. While the t-mobile in areas like times square gets a very wide and deep selection.
