Is anyone having walkie talkie issues?

it works fine for awhile but then it says unable to connect to all of my users.

the only fix is go onto cellular on the watch and that gets it going again.

or to reboot the phone (not the watch) and then reestablishes the connection.

so it might be an iOS13 issue on the phone as well

Hmm, I thought it’s been really responsive and reliable on WatchOS 6. Actually made a thread about it today. Are you on iOS 13 or 13.1/13.1.1? I’m running 13.1.1.

13.1.1 here

what I’ve noticed is when I open walkie Talkie the other person gets the Taptic feedback and the app opens but theb I get the connection error message

There’s definitely an issue with this function, mine keeps on saying ‘trying to connect‘ yet my other half is getting the vibration on her wrist.

Walkie-talkie reliability has been garbage since it’s original inception. I have always had connection issues. However, on watchOS 6 I can’t even get it to connect to my wife’s Apple Watch. She gets the notification and accepts. Then mine says failed to connect.

I hope they fix these issues. I only use it with my wife. We like it when we go grocery shopping but split up to make it through the list faster.

Wonder what’s going on with this. Works great for me and my wife. We use it all the time.
Both on iPhone 11 Pro and Pro Max iOS 13.1.3 and S5’s WatchOS 6.0.1

Has one had any luck with a fix? I am having the same issues with failing to connect when the other person gets the notification.

My only (terrible) fix for this in my situation is to ‘reconnect’ when it times out. It then connects on that 2nd go-every time. But this defeats the purpose.
