Before I go to bed, i wanted to share thoughts I had about the wallet.
I have a 5s, which is 4 years old now and is suffering from severe lag. Having said that, I was wondering about the Wallet/passbooks app. Has anyone else realized that if you don't use it for a charge card or tickets, the app doesn't see much use? The only reason I use it is for my Wegmans Shoppers club card (which is useless 95% of the time), and that's it.
People get the hugantic Sunday newspaper inserts with pages of coupons that could easily be distributed digitally and imported into Wallet where its deleted after use. Instead, most of the apps that do have these coupons don't allow them to be imported into Wallet, and the ones that do have no relevant retailers.
Another thing: NFC enabled iPhones have been out for 3 years now, yet I haven't heard of any developments related to key cards and accessory interaction? This seems like such a logical thing to do. Why hasn't Apple created an API for this?
