iPhone SE (2016) Wallet not working

Just gone back to iPhone from huawei, everything’s set up including Monzo. However when I try to set up Apple Pay I just get the error message could not set up Apple Pay? Any ideas

im in the uk. Tried a full reset but mo luck

It doesnt even get to the stage where you input your debit card details. I open wallet, click add card, then it comes up with the message even before inputting details.

You mention you are coming back to iPhone? Are you using a pre-existing AppleID? If so make sure you have two-FACTOR authentication turned on....

did a software update turned the phone off then when I turned it on in the morning it let me add my card

Might have been a server problem on Apples side. Glad its working for you though!
