Wallpaper iPhone 5s too big

I am trying to take a picture from my camera roll and make it my wallpaper but it is too big. When I try to resize the picture it in the set up screen it will not let me resize it. I am missing something. Thanks !!

nah you're not missing anything. Doesn't work for me either. It's a glitch.

Workaround is to take a screenshot of the pic, this then allows you to resize it
