Don't we have the option to choose wallpaper and set as home/lock? Maybe can't see it.
Apologies if already been mentioned.

Yes you can choose any photo from your photo library.

Tap on the Set button and that will show options as to which screens you want to apply that wallpaper to.

Hit Set, and it gives you the option to set it as home screen, lock screen, or both.
