WallpaperImageExtension - 4GB memory usage

What is WallpaperImageExtension? It's taking up close to 4GB memory right now. I'm not using aerial wallpaper, just a basic dynamic wallpaper.
 
Check ~/Library/Containers/com.apple.wallpaper.extension.image/Data/Library/Caches
Or you cloud try to set the wallpaper to a solid color, log out and set your regular wallpaper again.
