I just got off the phone with an employee from a local Walmart, and she was more than generous to provide with me a few bits of info regarding this next Thursday, June 24th.

So, for anyone that doesn't have a pre-order, listen up. They will start selling the iPhone around 8AM - 9AM. Unlike the pre-ordering process, they will take any form of payment.

So, get to your Walmart early and look forward to iPhone 4!

Considering what other stores have told me, it is. For people who didn't get a chance to pre-order it was basically a, "Uh. Sorry, we don't know anything." answer.

But, I fixed the post. ;)

For those with debit cards and cash, this may be a nice option. Oh do walmart gift cards count??

Cash, CC, Debit Cards and possbily Walmart Giftcards.

Definitely. Considering I only use Debit and Cash, this is a terrific option.

If you reserved your iPhone at the store, YOU have to PAY WITH A CREDIT CARD.

Well, considering I never got a chance to do so, I don't have to pay by that method.

Keep in mind this will probably vary heavily from store to store. I called four different Walmarts and this is what I got:

    - 1 had no clue if they would be selling them
    - 1 said that they hadn't seen any on order and probably wouldn't be selling them
    - 2 seemed like they would be selling them, but said they don't come in their normal inventory - they're delivered via UPS or something instead and so they don't know when exactly they'd have them. They said the best bet would be to call beforehand.

All of them the wireless department operates 9am-9pm, not the full store hours.

I understand. Mind if I use this in the OP?

Yes, but there isn't an Apple Store anywhere nearby.

Sure, check out this thread also. Higgs1 said he is the manager of a Walmart and has a spreadsheet with the iPhone inventory all stores will be receiving:
