It has something to do with the mobile view of Macrumors... I am interested in knowing if they take it back. If they don't, politely say "May I speak with your superior?" I suspect you are a younger forum member, because you said "we" not "I". Usually when people are driving somewhere by themselves, they say "I." Am I right?

Yah, I don't got my license. I will let you guys know.

Walmart sales are down ... they are hurting right now ... greed has prevailed

Purchased 3 weeks ago according to the OP. So how long has to go by before Wal-Mart can reject taking it back before it is not about greed.

Also, does anyone know of a place that would refund me $500 if I give them my iPad

Really? You've had it for 3 weeks and now you want a store that didn't sell the iPad to you to take it back and give you $500? Un-fricking-believable!

I hope you were kidding, which I think you were. Best buy has the trade-in and buy back programs. They might see the condition it's in, and then resell it, or do something. I have the original boxing, 10watt adapter, and USB

Ah yes, I forgot about the "Wal Mart is evil" mentality that seems to overwhelm common sense. Sorry about that, I won't let that happen again.

My apologies, I didn't realize you were a Walton. :D But on a serious note . . .

Not a Walton, but I don't see how Wal Mart not taking back an item that is 7 days past the return period makes them evil or greedy. But whenever Wal Mart is mentioned there is always someone to say they are evil or greedy regardless of circumstances.

My apologies, but refund does not mean trade-in or buy back programs. Best Buy's buy back program won't help you as you have to purchase the Buy Back Program with the item.
