I have a contract with tmobile for a little over a year left...

My family signed a two year contract almost a year ago for a family plan, but now I want a iPhone...

If I was to get out of the family plan on my phone and turn off my service, but my mom kept a plan for herself would I need to pay a cancellation fee???

Also is there any chance the iPhone moves to maybe tmobile in a year?

If I do have to pay a cancellation fee should I just say screw it and not pay it and move to AT&T???

I know alot of people have been in my boat so what did you guys do and what should I do?

I want the phone and I would rather not pay any fees and I don't want to do anything that might make it "brick"...

Sorry if this is common knowledge but I'm new to the boards...

An unlocked iPhone is always an option ;-)

Yeah but isnt there a chance it will get bricked and arent they more expensive? I would rather use the iphone with the software it was designed for which is AT&T... But lol I've doubt about it
