Pownce (ahem) is basically a glorified version of Twitter. It'll run on most any computer with a modern browser and is platform-independent.

I also have about 9 invites, but I probably won't be checking this thread 🙄

why is this better than iChat? i could transfer files and chat with friends there too.

any advantages that i don't see?
