just to give you an idea, i jumped on the bandwagon a little too late, and it took a full extra day then it took the people in the begining.... i would imagine you will be getting your watch on friday if you received a shipping window....

Eh, that's okay by me! I was originally going to be waiting until Late June for the model I ordered, so a few days won't hurt me.
Why isn't anyone paying attention to this? This would be the first 42 mm SS Milanese loop to ship ordering this late, as far as I can see. Let's see a copy of the order!
Especially considering I ordered the same model 8 minutes after and it's been in processing he'll ever since. Apple CS rep says they had a $1 auth charge on my card but I haven't seen anything other than the full charge for a sport 38mm white band ordered 12 minutes after on the 10h and we received that one on the 24th same day I was charged for it.

Charge ... Prepare.... Ship... The shipped status took about 3 hours after the prepare to ship status.

Oh and after it shipped... I didn't get a date from ups until next morning as it just didn't show up on tracking but apple gave me the date through email and it was next day
Yay!! I'm preparing for shipment as well. I got charged for AppleCare this afternoon about 2 PM EST. Funny thing is my credit card has a pending charge for both the watch and AppleCare since I placed my order on the 30th. The last I checked, my Amex still has a charge for both the AppleCare care and the full amount of the watch and the AppleCare. Is that weird?
There is no downside to doing that. If you do, when you receive the classic buckle watch and want the modern buckle, just contact Apple for a band exchange. You can wear and enjoy the watch and when you receive the modern buckle you can then send the classic back. I'm pretty sure that is what I'm going to do. I ordered the watch on May 1 and it is preparing to ship on May 2.
Not necessarily. I ordered Thursday and it didn't move until today. Maybe Monday or Tuesday you'll see movement.
