I really only like the Link. And it is it only a crazy $1k, but also severely delayed. I found a typical Citizen, Seiko, Movado, maybe even Tag looking link band for $75-$150 that I think can go on a Classic Buckle. That would be $775-$850 saving $150-$225 vs Apple's link band. I'd consider that.

I wanted to do this, because I'm an impatient little kid. But then I saw that it would be delayed one day... I'll just sit at home and wait
Edit: Seems like the delay of one day only applies to UPS stores, rather than UPS Customer Centers. So it looks like I'll be driving to get my watch tomorrow!

Ordered Monday morning at 2:33am EST. Charged my card at 8am, received UPS notification that it's getting delivered Tuesday by end of day !!! Thanks OP

You mean delayed as in end of day and not in morning?
No, I mean one extra business day. If it goes to the CC, they just divert it to will call instead of loading onto a truck. UPS Store is an actual truck delivery to the UPS Store on a driver's route. Once at the UPS Store, they have to process it in and notify you it's there. Hence the one day delay. Is it possible it's delivered tomorrow and you can get it before the UPS Store closes? It's certainly possible I think. I'd monitor the tracking closely and head over when you see it's delivered. Don't wait for them to call you.

Probably not. If it lets you edit it online it's not too late.
Probably 50/50. If it's going somewhere close to the original address (like on the same route) maybe no delay. If it's a different truck there might be extra time to re-sort the package.

I retorted it to a UPS Store 1.5 hours from the original address. And I have an email saying it will be at the UPS Store tmrw.

I've ordered my 38mm SS BCB on friday, but due to bank holiday in the UK hasn't moved and no action on my CC except the reservation of something like 1gbp..

my SS38BCB is also ordered in the UK (London delivery).
These watches ship within 24h in the US, but my order is still processing since Friday (I'm from the Netherlands, but my Colleague lives in the UK).

Ahhh I see. Yeah I'm not far from London and mine is still processing too but I did just order it yesterday. Also I have my original order that's still processing and that's the 12th may slot!
Don't know about this particular model, but in Australia I have ordered SS 42 with WSB yesterday and it is preparing for shipment as from 2 hours ago today
I've cancelled my SG42 last week, decided I wanted the smaller watch. Also liked the sapphire glass and steel casing(my pebble has loads of scratches). This is the watch I wanted (pure luck it should be the fastest shipping, but I'm still waiting)
2 hours ago in down under, means still couple of hours left in the UK before starting to get frustrated
