omeletpants macrumors 6502 Original poster Jan 13, 2007 #1 I want a very uncluttered look on my desktop and have everything but the Macintosh HD in the dock. I can move the icon to the Dock but an image still stays on the desktop. Anyway to only have the icon in the dock and nothing on the desktop?

P Pili macrumors regular Jan 13, 2007 #2 In finder's preferences you can deselect the option to show drive icons on the desktop. I think thats what your looking for 🙂
