I know there are a ton of threads here describing the terrible customer service, but wanted to add my voice. I've used them twice now and had issues both times. The products themselves are fine, but the customer service is terrible.

First time I bought a skin for a Nintendo Switch. Product was great, but I paid extra for expedited shipping and it still took like two weeks. They did send it out by the 2-day mail, but I believe the transit time would have been the same if I chose the cheap option. The issue was that it took them so long to send it out, which I thought the more expensive option would avoid. Then they sent an email saying 'you're item has shipped!' Well guess what - it was actually like 5 more days before it actually shipped. They simply sent the info to USPS on that date. Took them several more days to actually drop it in the mail.

Second time was when I bought a skin for my new Iphone 11. Everything arrived ok (though again, like usual, it took a while). When I finally opened the package I noticed that there were two skins (great!), but oddly they were slightly different - not the exact same skin. Ok, fine, doesn't really matter. Odd, but the only difference was how much was covered around the various cutouts. The bigger issue was that customer service assured me that they would also be sending a piece that covers the glass around the lenses, just like all the other skins they sell appear to. But neither skin had this piece. So I reached out to them - a total of about 5 times over the past two weeks, waiting 48 hours or more between each communication . Finally got a response several days ago (interestingly enough this was about an hour after I filed a complaint with the BBB). They asked me to send a pic. So I did. Now several more days have passed and still absolutely nothing. All for a tiny piece of plastic that they were supposed to send in the first place.

Again, seems like most people know this. But for the newbies - use a different company. It's all mostly the same product. No reason to go with Slickwraps. Customer service is virtually nil.

haha, they just responded again to my request for an update. they're response was 'update to what? looks like you got your order'

Thanks. I’ve sent messages to them here as well with no response, and tagged them in threads.

Oddly enough I made a last ditch effort to contact them by messaging their Facebook account. Got a response after a while, and then about an hour ago saw that they’d sent package info to USPS. Will be interesting to see what shows up and when.

I was picked in their “Tag Someone With An Outdated Phone” Twitter contest back in June. They’ve repeatedly told me “it’s in the mail”. It’s November and I still haven’t received anything.

SlickWraps is really bad, i bought retro skin for 11pro, the skin is like a paper, and does not stick to the phone well, its so bad, the only thing i like is free screen protector.

I also had a terrible experience with Slickwraps that will keep me away. Product I ordered didn’t ship for weeks even though it was supposedly in-stock. They never answered emails nor did they respond when I opened a Paypal claim. Finally got the item over a month after ordering.

The are super slow to ship when a new release occurs. Expedited is only a means to make more money from you. Also, many sellers, especially on ebay or amazon quickly mark the order as shipped and assign a tracking number. This is done to lock you in (sorry sir it shipped), to meet on time shipping metrics (why hasn't the item shipped quickly) or to simply mark something with a longer ship time as done (again for metrics).

yeah, it's a mess and just terrible customer service.

the items they finally sent after the FB messaging conversation ultimately had the pieces they initially neglected to send. amazingly showed up like three days after i contacted them. they finally responded to the BBB complaint as well, but only after I provided my own update mentioning i got the products. and then i get an email this morning from some other random CS person asking me again to send pics, which I can now ignore.

speaking of the screen protector they sent, i do like it. but it seems a little foggy. i'm actually looking forward to replacing it with something better down the road. works fine for now, though.

I haven’t used them in a couple years. They were good back then, companies change though.

I got my last couple skins off amazon.

I had a really bad experience with Slickwraps yet again, this time I ordered a clear skin for my iPhone 11 Pro Max on Sep 16, 2019, and despite paying the double shipment charges ( so-called Express Shipping), it arrived after 10 days.

I don’t think Slickwraps even knows the meaning of customer service/support...they just never respond to anything.

So I decided to return the skin and opted for another option.

I will never give any business to this company again.

Did you get a refund? I'd be nervous to send anything back to them. Would think it could take months to get a refund, if you're lucky.

Their CS link takes you to some separate web page, and it feels like it isn't connected to anything. They do respond, but it almost feels like a bot, and it often takes way more than the 24-28 hours they promise.

As I mentioned above, I reached out to them via Facebook Messenger through their Facebook page as a last ditch effort after trying several other methods and was shocked to get a quick response, and then a replacement product within a couple of days. So if you are having any issues, give that a shot.

I spent $80 and it took 4 weeks for me to receive a dingy dirty wrap that was way to big for my brand new MacBook Pro. For two weeks I’ve sent photos and order number with no response. I’ve filled out their online form and nothing. I called the 800 number on their website and guess what it’s been disconnected. I’m starting to think they just plant people to leave good reviews and on their fb page they deleted my review the second it was posted. What a scam!

one of their reps provided me with his direct email through FB messenger - removed - try that. i believe he also posts here from time to time. i sent him a DM via this forum, though it took a couple of weeks for a response. they also responded shortly after i created a BBB complaint, though not consistently. things for me went from total silence to all of a sudden getting like a new response every hour for two days from several different people. it's like they were backlogged for weeks and caught up. though they still seem to be confused about what's going on because i believe they have now sent a second set of replacement skins to me. so at this point i will have a total of 5 extras. i don't think they have a good way of tracking these complaints and associating them with orders.

Avoid at all costs. Takes two months to post items I bought during a sale.

I made a claim against them on PayPal and they made up a tracking number and got PayPal to close the case automatically.

Very dodgy.
