Wanting 17" led first impressions

it seems like anyone ordering a 17 LED has a long wait time. less for matte, but my 17 LED glossy is expected to ship march 19th and i ordered the 27th of feb.
i've seen the mattes be a bit less, but not much... like the 12th of march for a similar order date.

I don't thgink any 17" MBPs have actually shipped yet.
I ordered a 17" LED and its not due to ship until at least the 6th. I have a thread going on trying to find out if *anyone* has actually had their 17" ship yet.

ok...thanks guys...I knew the ship date was a week or so out for ordering now but thought the ones who ordered when they were announced were starting to receive them. Anyway I will probably go ahead and order mine tomorrow....I just wish I could have seen one first because I am a little concerned about the size of fonts graphics etc at this resolution....I'm starting to have to wer reading glasses as it is lol 🙂

Got my 17" hi-res matte (LED) a few minutes ago. It looks great, very bright and great colors. No screen yellowing or other defects so far and I'm very happy.
A general note, the 17" is actually lighter than my old 15" Asus laptop so I'm very happy about that.
