I'm 16 and i have been interested in starting to do some programing. I was wondering what the best way to teach my self is or if someone could help me? I know nothing about programing not even what to use. I really don't want to spend money so free options are preferred.

    Thanks

At the top of these threads are several helpful permanent links.

For free books, visit your local library.

There have been several threads here asking basically the same question. Just look through the headings page by page and you'll come up with some good ones that were recently discussed.

XStep is dead on. Look at the links at the top of this sub-form. There are bound to be many books at your local library under "introduction to programming".
