Are there any good Civil War or WW II war games out there? I used to play a great Civil War game on my PC but can't seem to find any for the iMac.
I've looked around and found nothing.

I think the OP meant strategy games, like Panzer General or Combat Mission.

AGEOD's American Civil War is a grand strategy wargame covering the American Civil War. It's not a tactical battle game, so if you're looking for a simulation of a particular battle it's not what you want.

But if you're into setting tax policy, determining draft levels, setting up your general's command structure, and some area level maneuvering (there are about 40 - 60 areas per state), then have at it. It's on the Mac app store.

I've wasted plenty of hours on Rise of Nations Gold (already mentioned, Mac OS or Windows). It's not Civil War or WWII specific, but you can set the beginning and end time periods, so you could just set them at the same time period, which would be whichever one is before the Industrial Age, I would think. Fun game. Can even play against friends online.
