Warcraft III help

I'm just wandering if anyone has or knows how to fix this problem i am having with warcraft III.
I have installed it and reinstalled it many times and keep getting this same message, "The application Warcraft III quit unexpectedly"

I am new to Mac's so if anyone would be able to offer me some help that would greatly appreciated

Are you running the latest patch (1.23)? If not, grab these two files to patch it. Hopefully that helps

Patch to 1.21b first
http://ftp.blizzard.com/pub/war3x/patches/mac/War3TFT_121b_English.zip

Then patch to 1.23
http://ftp.blizzard.com/pub/war3x/patches/mac/War3TFT_123a_English.zip

If this doesn't help, can you try to explain exactly how this error appears. Eg. double-clicking the Frozen Throne icon, the splash screen shows then crashes etc.

I had this same problem, I had to upgrade some app that wasn't connected to WC3. I could've been Java or a video (Qucktime, WMV etc). I'm sorry it was quite a few years ago so I can't quite remember...

I got the information from Blizzards forums I believe.

What machine are you running, and what version of Mac OS X?
