Warm Device

Updated to the latest public beta today and as I type this my device is warm!

I felt the warmth through my iPhone 6 silicone case, I've taken it off hoping it can help cool down the back of the device.

Nothing's changed but the update, my brightness is still about 1/4 of the way up from the lowest setting.

Do you think this is just my iPhone 6 - is it connected to he updated today?

Its normal for the device to warm up during installations of updates. If it continues after 30-45 minutes, then do a hard reboot. Something could be stuck in the background causing the processor to work.

AWESOME!
It has totally killed my battery in the last hour, but after a hard reboot, the device is cold and now charring. Thank you for the advice.

Mine's warm as well but it's also rebuilding the Faces index of >10K photos. I think that's the culprit (at least for me).
