This shift is good for the planet, we make too many CDs. ya know in the future they should have environmental tax deductions for distributing media electronically.

I have rented 5 movies from iTunes this year. That's probably 5 more than the DVDs I have rented from my local store.

It took me about two days of movie rentals for me to double my purchases on iTunes. Now, I've probably rented 10-15 movies.

I just can't get into the renting for my iPod thing.

I would, if the 5G was supported. I watch tons of stuff on TV over the AV cable.

Why not release on iTunes the same day the movie comes out in the cinema? Now *that* would be brave!

That will never happen, at least not on iTunes first. The studios and theatres would never go for it.

It sounds like rentals AND sales for most films will be same day as DVD release.
