Mailbox's latest update (1.1.0) broke the app for jailbroken devices.

It will not let you authorize a new account - it will give you an error every time.

The developers are aware and when asked, have so far not replied as to weather or not they will fix this.

EDIT: This was their reply to someone else - "It's likely because of the latest update - it's caused crashing with jailbroken phones. Unfortunately we don't support them". Doesn't sound promising.

Yes you can. Double-click the title when you're in the jailbreaksection. :)

It was updated on March 21st. So...I guess it was a while. Only just updated today and now I can't use the app. So if I can stop 1 person...well...good enough for me

By the way, it worked for me. Adding the account that is. Not recently but just after I installed the app. Used a bypasser to verify my account though. I have a legit reservation number it's just that I need to go through support each and everytime I want it to be successful.

It was the latest update that caused the issue. I could add all the accounts I wanted yesterday, but after i updated I can't add any. Although the bypasser might also have done something for you.
 
I would love for anyone to develop a bypass. I have no idea what to do now for push gmail.

Well i'm done with this app then. I'm very happy they decided not to charge or I would be demanding a refund.

Deleted and won't ever look back.
 
Good thing to know. Maybe if I wait for the 700,000 people in front of me to get their app first, it will be ironed out by the time my turn comes up.

I just talked to a few other people who are NOT jailbroken and are also having this problem.

Might not be the jailbreak but some kind of other error. Either way, safest bet is to not update until it's fixed/not fixed.
 
Just added another account to the app on my phone and it worked just fine on my jailbroken 5.
 
lol, selling their intentional jailbreak check as "jailbreaks are buggy". What a load of crap.

I'd bet a lot of money that they are doing this because many jailbroken users circumvented the waiting line (for example by using Flex)
