I purchased and installed duet on my ipad pro 12.9 and got the download link and installed on PC. Reboot and it zonked my PC - would not boot - couldn't get into UEFI. took 3 hrs of tries before it finally allowed me get into UEFI and restore to a point BEFORE I installed the duet software. I have no clue what is going on, but gonna uninstall the duet. Dang - this was one justification I had for the 12.9.

That's odd. I often use Duet so that my 10.5 IPP works as a second monitor with my Surface Pro 4. It can be a little sluggish at times, but generally works well.

Not exactly related, but I can’t use duet on my self built pc because it messed up the hardware acceleration for some reason. Uninstalled it, and it’s fine. Sucks though cause I had some uses for it.

You may want to try us My air display. I have both it and duet and I prefer air display. They both work very similarly except that air display will also allow you to connect screens over wifi. The screen update slower on wifi but there are times when I don't have the charging cable and I'd still like to extend my screen so I find it useful. I've not had any real problems with air display nor duet, though I have heard of people on macs having issues with duet befor.
