It is obvious you’re trying to punch above your pay grade here.
I’ll pass that along.

Yes, but beta means "we're asking you to test it because we can't find anything wrong in house".It’s a beta.
I love to run the betas when I can because I like testing the new features beforehand so that when my family asks "how do I do this, what is that, or where is this?"Right, I don’t get the fascination with people using betas on their primary devices. Personally, I’d rather use a more stable OS from September to September…rather than potentially buggy betas from June to June. I’m still using the OS for a year just like the beta users, but just delayed and with a better experience.

No, RC means "we fixed all the stoppers we found in the beta program".Nope, that's what release candidate would mean.
Not according to practically every result one obtains from searching “beta test”.Yes, but beta means "we're asking you to test it because we can't find anything wrong in house".
Could someone please tell this guy what a 'Release candidate' is? He seems to have gotten a little mixed up.Oh great, the “but it’s a beta” crowd again.
Betas are actually for devs to build and test apps before release. This is a pretty big impediment for testing GPS functionality as it’s one of the things that you can’t test well in the simulator, or down level versions if you’re developing against the newer APIs.
No. It’s not 16.1. It’s 16.1 BETA. Relax.iOS 16.0 - Bug for activating. IOS 16.0.1 (day one update required). IOS 16.1 bug… not a great start.

I’ve never used a beta, but come here every summer to stay informed and enjoy all the drama while beta-free. 😎🍿🥤I used to do iOS betas some years back but stopped and never came back to the betas. I can wait until the full releases.
Do you spend a lot of time being wrong? There's literally a Dev only Beta first to let you know THAT beta is for Devs. The "Public" one is for us & to have the "public" test for bugs in a "beta".Oh great, the “but it’s a beta” crowd again.

And? Before beta they’re in-house developers and a large group of testers that ….TEST these betas. And it was still broke. It’s a beta.
I know, you wouldn’t THINK folks would need to remind other folks that they should not be using beta software on any important, critical, or “daily use” device, but here we are!Oh great, the “but it’s a beta” crowd again.

For most companies, betas are not supposed to have such obvious bugs. Of course, Apple is the exception. It’s a beta.
Actually that should be full release plus a couple since nowadays Apple just releases bugs or not.I used to do iOS betas some years back but stopped and never came back to the betas. I can wait until the full releases.
Nope, not bugs in general, that is for internal QA. Beta is for catching edge cases. GPS not functioning across the board is not an edge case.Maps has been flipping out since the update to 16. Not sure what happened but it continuously tries to redirect me to alternative routes home through these winding neighborhoods. Never did that before and there was absolutely no traffic
