    Hello,

Today at office we were playing with a little remote helicopter, it was hilarious, in the meanwhile we where browsing on safari, but suddenly Safari stop responding, but hey NO BEACH BALL, and then we started hearing some sound, we thought it was from some flash video on some web page, but then we heard our voices, we were like WTF, and then we heard the helicopter, we were amazed, haha, now safari has new built-in func, "Safari 5 records sounds without telling you", of course we just force quit safari, but wait, it didn't quit, we went to terminal and kill the process..

I just wanted to let you know what just happen to us.

    G.

Safari doesn't record audio at all, it doesn't have any audio input functionality. It may have been a Flash element on a page, but you would have had to authorize that at some point (whether directly on that page, or universally in Flash's settings another time).

That, or someone else in the office was messing with you because you were goofing around on the job. Remote desktop, etc, easy enough to do if you know how to set it up.

Well we were the only ones in the office, nobody else was there. And we never allow flash to record audio.

Someone in the other room, say an ICT person, could've been using Remote Desktop to muck around with you :p

Look, Safari definitely does not record audio. You might've hit some keys that brought up something that records audio. I have no idea. What website were you on? It was probably just a flash ad or something. Don't worry about it.
