This must have been one of the most stupid threads I've read in a long time. How could some one believe that a new computer would instantly work using the old ones HDD and installed OS and then, in the same post state that he had the issue while watching porn The Apple community is new to me and I try to keep an open mind, but dude come on...

Your old mb have a different build, because you just swapped drives over & didn't do an "archive & install" of OSX none, of your new feature hardware would work, you only noticed your sound....your FW & SD wouldn't have work either if you would have tried them

Well, the fellow had the sound problem. I think it is pertaining to the forum.
Also, have even tried to watch a porn without sound? You are not going to catch a lot of the movie history...

Actually, one could say that a more suitable division would be a 13"&15" forum and a 17" forum. I mean, the 13 and 15 have matching SD card slots, no express card, 2 USB ports, and 1.5gb sata. The only thing the 15 and 17 have in common now is a discrete graphics card (and, well, 2 audio jacks). But then things in 17" land might be too serene.
