thanks, so, when you loose bluetooth (say you go from one corner of your house downstairs to the opposite corner upstairs or, in my case go to the mailbox ~150ft away) it alerts you right away? or is there a delay?Yes, there is. The app is called "Phone Buddy." Excellent app with very attentive developers. I use it.

Phone Buddy Phone Lost Alert
Macworld’s 2020 “Must-Have apps for your new Apple Watch” Phone Buddy Notifier is an Apple Watch app that alerts you when you lose bluetooth connection with your iPhone. “All we want is the ability to get alerts on our Apple Watch when we leave our iPhone behind.” -Macworld Step away from...apps.apple.com
There is usually a very slight delay of a few seconds. This was done on purpose by the developers so as to not trigger a false alarm (as it were).thanks, so, when you loose bluetooth (say you go from one corner of your house downstairs to the opposite corner upstairs or, in my case go to the mailbox ~150ft away) it alerts you right away? or is there a delay?
that makes sense as there could be many reasons for a short ( < 1-2 sec) loss of BT connectivity ...There is usually a very slight delay of a few seconds. This was done on purpose by the developers so as to not trigger a false alarm (as it were).
I get notified 2 - 3 times a day while at work.that makes sense as there could be many reasons for a short ( < 1-2 sec) loss of BT connectivity ...
I realize it depends on your individual circumstances, but how often do you get notified?
I do get my own reminder, when I leave the house by car, I do listen to streaming audio, so I know right away if I forgot my phonebut I can certainly see the usefulness of that app
