So we bought our low functioning ASD 7yr old an Ipad Air 2 in January. Bought a griffin survivor all terrain case with it and the bloody thing is warped. Apple tried to tell me my 7 yr old did it with his bare hands. You cant even bend the griffin case without an Ipad in it let alone with an Ipad in it. My son has sensory issues and can't even hold a pencil properly let alone bend an Ipad.It has lived in the case and I've seen hundreds of threads on the Apple forum about warping IPADS and there are thousands of videos on Youtube on how to fix a warped Ipad. The Ipad has been it's cover since it came out of the shop. Problem is Apple won't acknowledge it so they don't have to cover on warranty. paid for the product warranty and everything but they won't honor anything and want another $450 to replace it. I've read stories of these Griffin cases warping Ipads because they are so tight. Has anyone else seen or heard of this. And NO we did not do it. It has not one scratch or mark on it and not one crack or chip in the glass. We put it on charge one night as we always do and the next morning i noticed the case had popped open but it wouldn't close. We took the ipad out of the case and it's like a banana so to speak. Just checking to see if anyone else has had this problem or heard of it. Apple said they won't cover it because it is damaged. NO S*%$.... Sorry i am new here and i hope i posted in the right section. Apple users tell you to get off their forum if you post there! Well i did anyway.

Never happened to me but it would be hard for you to justify that warping happened on its own.

How people manage to do things like this I will never understand.

Doubt that the iPad arrive new from Apple in that condition which is the determining factor.

Willing to bet it was on the couch, maybe even covered and it was either sat on or even stepped on. Nothing except physical force would bend an iPad like that. It is for sure toast!

My neighbor had something very similar happen to his iPad and it was bent like yours. He said he did not understand how it happened as he always kept it on the couch with thin pillow over it to protect. He has four young boys and one of them was jumping on this couch while my friend was at work and bent the iPad about like yours.
