Warranty Question

I couldn't find an answer to this so if anyone knows...

If your phone is replaced by apple, do you have another year warranty from replacement date or from the original date of purchase.

My home button has completely stopped working and I was just wondering if I would still be under warranty, bought original phone on launch day. It was eventually replaced in October.

Same warranty as the day you bought it. No extension of coverage.
