I had my 2011 Mini repaired in June for a dead LED light. They replaced my logic board and housing for free. The warranty on my mini expired late August. Today I find out as I opened it to dust off the fan that they didn't place a wire or something correctly near the front of the harddrive causing it to not be pushed in all the way toward the front of the chassis. This makes the threaded hole on the HDD where the wifi grill screw goes into misaligned and the screw isn't flush. It rubs on the rubber gasket on the door/foot and its starting to tear it in that area.

Obviously this isn't really a huge problem but an issue that they caused during repair nonetheless. Anyway they will still cover it?

I believe they warrant any work done for 3 months, so it may still be under warranty.

try bringing it in to the same apple store where you got it fixed. Bring a copy of the repair report they give you and ask nicely. Most of the time apple will help you out. (i.e My macbook pro was out of warranty already for a 250+ days (apple care expired) and my motherboard was dead, they replaced it for free, saved me $600) Good luck!
