Did anyone else notice that the warranty for the iPad is for 1 year from the date of purchase? So by the time some of us get our orders almost 1 month of warranty coverage would have already lapsed? Can't apple see how unfair that is or did I misread?

its pretty unfair but its extremely rare for something to go wrong the last month of a warranty....problems will creep up in the first few months

"Order" =/= "Purchase". Don't overthink things.

No, your warranty would technically begin on the shipping date. ~3-5 days before you receive it.

The poster above is correct, the warranty doesnt start until it ships just like apple doesn't charge your credit card until it ships.
