Did anyone else notice that the warranty for the iPad is for 1 year from the date of purchase? So by the time some of us get our orders almost 1 month of warranty coverage would have already lapsed? Can't apple see how unfair that is or did I misread?

its pretty unfair but its extremely rare for something to go wrong the last month of a warranty....problems will creep up in the first few months

The poster above is correct, the warranty doesnt start until it ships just like apple doesn't charge your credit card until it ships.
