Can I buy covarage after it gone long gone like someone sold me there computer to get a laptop, and I need the tech help.I need it for a Mac. G-5 Silver tower? If yes were and cost?

The Applecare three year coverage needs to be bought before the first year runs out. The best you might do now is to try to find something from a non-Apple source. Apple and lots of other places will still fix the machines at regular repair rates, of course.

You could of course always ask about the problem here, maybe you'll get lucky and find out that you're not in for a big expensive repair event after all.

Or go to your local Apple dealer, and while you are at it, get contact information for your local Mac users group. Attend a meeting, ask questions there, and also ask members there for recommendations of Mac-savvy consultants.
