Was this overclock worth it?

I am aware that overclocking is rarely every worth it , but I was wondering was this overclock worth it.

Stock cpu: 2.3ghz
Overclocked: 2.7ghz
= 400mhz overclock

Stock ram: 800mhz
Overclocked: 770mhz
= Loss of 30mhz

Was it worth the 400mhz in cpu overclock when the ram went down 30mhz?

No, the processor handles what's happening and what is happening next, but the RAM makes it go faster
