Washed Out OS Windows?

I noticed this for the first time tonight but several of my windows looked washed out in strange areas. Any thoughts?

Looks like some kinda glitch with the graphics...i can't put my finger on it.

Does a reboot do anything?

Just restarted and i tried recreating what I was doing before it started but so far so good. If it happens again I think I am going to reinstall the OS but I may do so anyways this weekend. The last picture is pretty wild isn't it?

it is your screen. basically, need a new screen. sorry! same thing happened with my g3 iBook

^If it were his screen:
2) A screenshot wouldn't capture it
3) Rebooting the OS wouldn't temporarily fix it, since a screen isn't software
4) We wouldn't be able to see it (see reason #2)

I left out step one just because starting lists with the number 1 is played out.

That doesn't mean I know what it is, but it's definitely something graphics/software related... a restore should fix it if some files got corrupted or altered.....

A GUI preference may be messed up, though i don't know exactly which one to drag to the trash.

last picture looks like yur brightness is WAY to high... the other pics look like OS X somehow is using the old OS X folder icons...
