Is there a way to charge the watch 4 wireless? I thought they mentioned it during the keynote, but can’t find any devices.

The Apple Watch has always been “wireless” charging. There is no port and you lay it on the charging “puck”.

So unless Apple releases their Pad, can’t charge the phone and watch at the same time?

I think you mean the AirPower mat. In that case you can get 3rd party Qi chargers that can charge 1-3 devices at a time already

At this Point, the Airpower has been completely removed from Apple‘s website and there really is no indication if it will return or not as a future proprietary product offered. That said, your only option would be third-party wireless chargers.
