I just noticed this.. It looks light though. I swear I've had more apps updated with Watch functionality than that... and the navigation is a little bit rough. I hope they get that sorted out.

I agree, I was expecting a lot more apps. I'm sure they will be adding more shortly.

there are supposedly 2,000 apps that will be available for the watch at launch. This list is just a list of must haves that Apple designated.

If you go to an app in the regular app store and it has a watch app, it shows previews and a cool icon under the title that says there is a watch app for it.
