I have a custom focus mode that is active 2300-0700. It works just fine on my iPhone. I have mirroring set up, and it works fine on my iPad and my Mac.

Not my Watch (Series 5), though. My watch turns on the focus mode but doesn't turn it off. I've tried disabling and re-enabling the mirroring setting (from both the phone and the Watch), deleting and re-creating the focus mode, and restoring my Watch's OS, and the problem persists.

It used to work just fine. And then it started intermittently doing this, and now it's every single morning. Other focus modes, such as driving or manually toggled modes, work just fine. This automatic one is the only one that doesn't, and even though it's ultimately a minor thing (I can just disable it manually), it's still aggravating enough that a growing part of me wants to return to using a normal watch.

Anyone experience this or have any suggestions? I found this thread, and that person tried a content erase w/out restore on the Watch, to no avail.

I'm having similar issues with Sleep focus. First it stopped turning off the watch face when the focus was activated by using Siri shortcut in the evening. That was fixed with software update. But the update also broke the morning routine. Sleep focus used to turn off automatically when the alarm went off in the morning. But not anymore. I tried many things to fix it, but the problem persists.

It is frustrating to notice how many things that used to work fine are no longer reliable.

Darn. I was considering moving back to the sleep focus, because that used to work for me. My current focus does essentially the same thing; I just stopped using the "real" sleep focus because I hate the pointless "good morning" screen.

Sadly, "updating" (putting in quotes, because it feels like a downgrade) to watchOS 10 did not fix this issue.
