I placed an order from for Apple Watch Dots earlier this week, and I haven’t received any notification from them about the status of my order at all. They were quick to charge to $9.99, and their contact email on their website just bounces back as invalid.
ANyone have any suggestions for getting a hold of them?

I placed an order today and got a notification shortly after. Could it have gone to your Junk or Spam folder?

Ok so I did get a confirmation that my dots are on the way. And I received that email a couple an hours after my order confirmation email.
No tracking information or anything.
It has been 5 business days and I haven’t received anything ... first class mail should have delivered by now.

based on the number of posts here and other places.. I think they got flooded with orders. I still haven't gotten shipping confirmation.

I have seen them mentioned in Facebook groups about the watch, forums and also in some of the articles written this week. Sorry.. I have been doing a lot of research and reading this week, so don't have any specific links. Search should bring them up.

I ordered some last week after they were mentioned in a thread somewhere on this site. I didn't get much in the way of acknowledgment until I got a shipping notification. They're being shipped first class mail, which is typical for stuff like this (I've ordered a few vinyl decals for car windows). I think they should be here this week sometime.

I do agree that they're probably flooded. Previous watches had neutral crowns which a lot of us were OK with (including me) but the red is offputting because it's often hard to match. My current watch is a series 0 stainless with a black crown and I ordered a stainless again this time around.

I chose antique white because I wanted something that wouldn't stand out and would go with anything I choose to wear. Color-matched silver metallic would have been optimal but the white will be better than the red.

If I want red, I'll wear my product red sport band or pick up some other red band, but I've been wearing a 3rd-generation black classic buckle almost exclusively for months and I have a sport loop ready for pickup this Friday along with the watch itself.

I'll share pictures once everything is set.

Did either of you receive your dots?
It’s been 14 days since they’ve told me my dots have shipped and I still have not received anything. I don’t see how first class mail could be delayed like this.

I’ve been emailing their customer service back and forth and they’ve been entirely not helpful.

I’ve asked they send me another set ASAP or issue me a refund. So far this has been a 1/10 experience. Hope the folks at Watch Dots see this.

I got mine a little after 2 weeks.

Now that there is a "well" in the Digital Crown for LTE models, I'd suggest a teeny drop of nail polish instead.

Thanks. I ordered mine on the 9th. I noticed you’re in Pennsylvania... unsure why it would take a week and a half to get from Boston to you. This probably means I’ll get mine in a month given I’m on the west coast.

I haven't heard anything yet. Not quite 2 weeks.

Good to know I’m not the only one.

What I don’t understand is how these are being shipped via first class mail and there such a long delivery time. I’ve shipped things by first class before and it never took more than 4-5 days to get from the Ca to NY.

I actually contacted them to ask wtf was going on. I eventually found an email that worked, the first one kept failing. Try this one, I got a response almost immediately.

contact@watchdots.com

Took me a while to find an email that work as well. I have been in contact with someone from WatchDots for the last week.
This person suggested I wait 13 days just in case there is a “delay” by the USPS. I think this is a ludicrous amount of time to wait for something shipped domestically by first class mail. Then they had me confirm my shipping address (which is course was correct).
I haven’t heard back from them for 48 hours now. Today would be 15 days since the item had been shipped.
I am asking they either issue me a full refund, or send me another set. So far no response.

WatchDots, 1/10.

When the original Apple Watch came out business was good, but eventually tapered off. That's when WatchDots came under new ownership ... around the time the Series 1 and Series 2 Apples Watches were announced. Now that the Series 3 has been announced, there has been a huge spike in orders and business in general.
The new owner may still be learning the ropes, so to speak.

It occurs to me to note that while I did get the color I ordered, I also didn't get the "random" extra set that was originally advertised. The page now states that you get three of the color you ordered, so I guess it was changed after I ordered but around the time it shipped. Originally, you were to get two of the color you ordered and a third pair in a random color.

Not a big deal, but something to be aware of.

So far, the dot I applied is holding up well and I don't expect it to fall off unless abused. I've put vinyl decals on car windows before and they hold up to touch-free car washes, so anything my hands do to the material is not going to knock it off any time soon. (Assuming that the WatchDots are made of outdoor-rated vinyl).

I did not apply a decal to the side button, though. Just the crown.

Oh, I did promise pictures. They're over here in the show-off thread.

Thanks so much for following up. The dot looks great in your watch. Also good to know I shouldn’t be expecting that random extra set.
The owner has agreed to send me another set in the absence of my original order. Waiting for this other set to arrive now.

I finally got my order today. So almost 2 months from order to arrival. Sadly they do not cover the red completely.. but it is better than having the glaring red dial

Mine are being shipped as we speak but I’m hesitant to use it as I hear it doesn’t entirely cover the red. Is that true? If so, I think it would look worse (IMO) if it didn’t cover it all and may just embrace the red dot. Anyone can post pics or share if it covered entirely?
