first thing I fired up. It is much better than the watch ESPN app on the 3rd gen Apple TV. I first thing I noticed was the scrolling ticker at the the bottom is actually smooth and judder free. I haven't had an issuing with buffering either thus far.

Watching tennis now and it is actually watchable.

Edit: I have GBPS Internet hardwired (only gets 100 that way) so it is the same Internet and conditions are the same.

I experienced a terrible bug on the new ESPN app today. I watched something on ESPN, then something on ESPN 2. Worked great. I closed the app and came back to it later. The audio from multiple channels started playing simultaneously and I couldn't get it to stop!

I had that happen to me too last night during the ASU-OU game. It was the stupid auto play video that they have now when you launch the app. I had to reboot my AppleTV to get it to stop and get the game back.

If that happens you just need to double tap the "tv looking button" to multitask and swipe up to kill the app.

It seems pretty common.

I had the same issue this morning when I came downstairs to watch College GameDay. Double tap and swipe up and all was good.

I cannot stand the fact that there is an auto play video built into this app and basically no way to get it to stop. That needs to be an option, not something that is forced on you.
