I’m currently sporting this Infograph Modular watch face, after using the condour face since Xmas day since getting my series 7

I don’t know what it is but I can’t seem to get a face with the right complications that look good

Anyone got any ideas? Or post pictures on yours so I can get some ideas on how to mix it up?

Thanks guys in advance ?

I was in the same boat, so I went the other direction, no/minimal complications. A couple of faces have the date complication using my 3rd party calendar app. And two workout faces, one for hiking and the other for all other exercise, that have the most important (for me) complications while working out. Once done working out, I switch to a minimal face.

Instead of using a complication, I will put some of those into the dock for easy access. And Widgets on the phone. Plenty of places to get the information if needed without having to clutter up the face.

Here is mine - I have a few faces for different events but this is my every day face. GMT face, Shares, weather, calendar and Pedometer.

My daily watch face - gradient in red... complications are clockwise from top left: Temperatire/Hi/Lo, Day/X\Date, Activity, Alert360 (home security app), and upcoming events in the top arc. I will switch from time to time to the California face with the same complications.

This is mine. It switches out the Spotify complication for an “up next” calendar during the work day.

I’ve grown into a fan of the Siri face. It gives me all the info I need and is dynamic according to what I’m doing. For example, if I’m watching on my AppleTV, it gives me a card for the Now Playing app and remote, cards for calendar events and reminders, the weather, my favorite teams scores, etc. It also has place for two complications.

The best looking are the least useful and the most informative are ugly. I wanted to like contour, but having a smartwatch that only gives me my activity data at a glance seems like such a waste. I've been giving meridian a go. It does a decent enough job to split the gap. I kinda like how it pushes the watch face outward and brings the complications in. Though they do get covered by the watch hands.

It'd be cool if the watch faces themselves could be automatically dynamic. Something a little more formal for weekdays between 8 and 6. The rest of the time, something more sport focused.

Not fully automatic, but, Focus and Automations.

Focus turns on, switch to different face. Focus turns off, switch. And time/day based Automations: at 6 on Mon-Fri, switch face.

Awesome. I'm coming from a series 0, and I'm learning new features every day. Thanks!

My main face is Siri face... Not perfect but it is most convenient for me.
I wish the corner complication font was larger.

Thanks for the replies guys,

I’ll have a play around and see what I can do,

Think the problem is I use my watch for the most obvious things, time, date and seeing my rings

Any other information would be good to see on the screen, but it would be information that would “just be there” if you get what I mean

I use the Contour face with a moon phase complication for day-to-day wear. But these are some of the other faces I use most: things I need while walking my dog, sun & day info, weather, moon info.

Those look great!!! May I ask if all the weather info is being pulled by Carrot?

I too use the Siri face alternatively. Just wish it has more options.

I see each card in the Siri face as a complication in itself. May I ask what you mean by more options? Like colors?
You were asking this to someone else, but I, for example, would use the Siri face if I could choose which cards it displayed, and in what order. I know it tries to intelligently display the cards it thinks you would want, but there are just some cards that I always want at or near the top.

Yeah, I can agree with that. Would definitely be great if you can order them by priority and Some like the Breathe (Mindfulness) card for example, I can do without. Most others are useful though like weather, activity rings, heart rate and I especially love how the now playing media card and Maps directions card pop up.

Yeah what he/she said. Not sure Siri guesses right most of the time.

I heard that the battery life was poor on the Siri face so I've never really used it - is that still the case?

You can customize the Siri watch face to only show certain info. So, you can tell it not to show the mindfulness app.

I looked in the Watch app under Siri and the only thing listed there for suggestions is Maps. Is there another place in the app I’m missing?
