Does anyone know if there’s a face/complication that has a large date and temperature? My phone seems useless sometimes, without readers on I can’t see either one. Apple doesn’t appear to have anything. Thank you.

How large are you needing? The x-large face would allow you to have the time and a single giant complication. That would let you have either the date or the temperature in very large font (but not both at the same time unfortunately). The Solar Graph, Astronomy, and Motion faces all could give you date and temperature, but the font size is not that big. Modular, Infograph Modular (series 4 later), or Modular Compact (series 4 or later) might be your best bets since they feature the large complication slot in the middle. By default there isn’t a way to only put the date in that big middle slot. But I think there are several 3rd party apps that could let you do it. Which watch do you have?

Not quite sure what you mean by XL, but 44mm implies you have a series 4 or 5. Any of the faces I mentioned above would be options. If you choose the Infograph Modular or Modular Compact faces, you could look for a 3rd party app to put either the date or the temperature in the large complication slot.
