I have an Applewatch 2 running watch os 4 and it's running very slowly lately... Do you think Watch os 5 will work better on the Apple watch 2? Or is it downhill from here??

Mine is on 4.3.1 and I’m afraid to upgrade. Performance on mine is great except for random restarts here and there that started happening recently. Can’t figure out what’s wrong. Erased everything and restored but didn’t fix it. Battery life is my favorite part. I can get 2 days out of a single charge, and then some. I work out every day too.

Besides a few bugs, most of which are now fixed, OS 5 has been fine on my S2 (my dev device). Its been installed since day 1.

Updated my S3 once they released to beta 4.

No noticeable difference in speed or performance on either model.

My apple watch 2 is very slow when it comes to the fitness app. There's a lot of lag when I try to start a workout. Other apps are laggy too... :(

Un-pair and re-pair? I've been running watchOS 5 beta since day 1 on my Series 2 SS and not had any lag/issues apart from the dodgy GPS way back when.
