Yeah so I've been using intervals pro for the longuest since I had my apple watch. With my hiit runs it would give me between 350-400 calories burned active depending on how hard I was running.

I updated to the Public Beta for OS 9 to try out the custom running workouts with the interval options and I've done 2 hiit runs since and I've been getting now up to 286 calories on my hiit runs.

The way its set up is for 17 times I'll run at my max for 30 seconds walk for 1 minute of rest. It seems that the Interval workout is not even taking into account of my Rest calories which is kinda dumb since I'm still moving around by walking.

Hi, I'm the developer for Intervals Pro! I'm working on iOS 16/watchOS 9 updates for the app this summer and will have a beta out at some point. I'll pay attention to that as I'm working on updates. The calorie count is coming directly from the watchOS workout session and should be the same as if you using the Apple Workout app. It could be that the App Store version of the app has not been built yet for the new OS versions. Tap on the More tab in the app and Email Us and I'll get some more info from you and let you know how to access the TestFlight beta.

Oh your app is fine. This thread was about the custom interval option in the running workout for the apple watch. I'll edit my original post.
I used your app yesterday for the first time since I updated to watchOS 9 and it was fine for tracking my calories.
